November 2013

I love the holiday season!  In November we celebrated Margaret and William's birthdays, had our annual fishing trip to the river, Susannah turned 1, Ben got a buck, we had Thanksgiving with family, and decorated for Christmas.  It is so much fun to watch Kathryn get really into all of the festivities.

October 2013

I can't believe it has been another month.  My life seems to go so fast right now!  Last year I remember feeling like once October started the year was over in a blink of an eye.  There are events every weekend...BUT they are SO much fun.

Jack turned 6 months old and is now pulling up on everything and letting go with one hand.  Kathryn is also getting more brave and is enjoying the gym childcare and willing to venture to her class at church occasionally.

In October we went to Farm Fest in the pouring down rain, went to Rutledge Wilson Farm to pick pumpkins, celebrated a wonderful friends (Kristy) soon to be born baby girl at a baby shower, and enjoyed a visit with Ben's parents.  We also celebrated Halloween by painting pumpkins, carving pumpkins, going to Spooktacular, and going to a Trunk or Treat event.

September 2013

This month we went to watch the Tigers play the Royals in Kansas City (Kathryn stayed with Grandma and Papa), I had my conference in Tan-Tar-A, and we went to the parade at the Fall Festival.  Jack is almost 6 months old and has started crawling, sitting up, and teething.  It was a big month!

Recap of August

Summer is drawing to a close and we are soaking up every minute of it.  This month we celebrated our anniversary, had a going away party for a colleague of Ben's, enjoyed trips to the park, family walks, feeding the ducks, and a very late birthday celebration for Ben at my parents house.

July-A full month

As always, July is a full month.  I get the month off and have so much fun being home with the kids.  We spent two weeks here and almost two weeks on vacation.  While we were home we celebrated the fourth of July at my Aunt Marcia's, celebrated Ben's birthday, had fun at the Willard Pool, went to the lake to celebrated Jody's 30th birthday and also went with the Sharps, and went to the Dieke's to meet baby Nora.  For vacation we went to the upper peninsula like always and had a wonderful time full of kayaking, fishing, and hiking.

Ben had a big month as well.  He was named the new Chief Photographer and we had a fun work party at Flame!

Month of June

Summer is here!  In June we met a new friend, Taylor Rose Ebbrecht, celebrated Father's Day, went to the lake for the first time this year (and Jack/Susannah's first time ever), celebrated Cooper's birthday, attended Cooper/Abby's baby dedication, and had a play date with the Sharps/Ebbrechts.  I also had my last day of work for a month and Ben and I celebrated by having a date night!  Even though it was a busy/fun month we are lacking on pictures (or at least pictures that are blog appropriate....now that it is hot Kathryn somehow always manages to loose her clothes :) ).  Here are a few.
