June 2015

After May being so crazy, June has actually been really laid back and it was needed.  We enjoyed lots of time at home on the weekends with some fun thrown in.  We went out to my parents to target shoot one afternoon, hit the Willard Pool, had dinner with friends and then watched Willard's fireworks display, went to the lake, had company over, and celebrated Father's Day.

This year at the lake was much different than last.  Kathryn tubed and Jack did too!  In fact, he insisted on going on his own tube :).

I am excited for what July will bring with Ben's birthday, me being off work, and our annual vacation to the UP.

May 2015

May was such a fun and busy month.  I have already posted about Kathryn's birthday but there were so many more wonderful activities and events that I want to make sure I document those as well.  The month of May started off with Sporting Chance and Derby Day festivities at the Ebbrechts.  We also had Mother's Day which was fun even if it was full of sick kids :).  We finished the month with a weekend away horseback riding and camping.  This was the first camping trip for Jack and the first one that Kathryn remembered.  It should be noted that in the horse camping pictures, it appears that Jack was never dressed.  This is because he found so many mud puddles that we ran out of pants....needless to say, the weekend was a hit with both kids and adults
