November 2014

Holiday season is here and with it lots of activities and events.  However, we love this time of year and this year has been made extra special with the addition of our newest niece and cousin Harriet.

We also got to celebrate my oldest niece Margaret's birthday.  We had cupcakes with her on the day of and then took her to paint pottery and go to Chuck E Cheese.  It was great spending a "girls day" together with Margaret and Kathryn.

This year brought us an early snow that was only here for a day but we had lots of fun playing.

Hunting season may as well be a holiday, We all enjoy doughnuts on opening day.  Ben was also lucky enough to get another buck this year and the kids were so excited!

The month ended with a beautiful weekend.  We took the kids to see Santa at Bass Pro, had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and had so much fun decorating our house for Christmas.

October 2014

I should have broken this post into several because we did SO many things this month and have so many pictures.  But, I am lucky to only get one post up a month and I want to make sure and document everything so here goes.

The month started off with a cool weekend at Farm Fest.  This is always fun with all of the cousins.

The next weekend was a busy one.  We spent Saturday afternoon out at Clay and Elissa's celebrating the fall birthdays.  After that we had a wedding to attend for Wes and Shannon.  I forgot my camera on this day but Clay took a few pictures of before the wedding.  Elissa also sent me a few more of us making a strawman.

The following weekend, we took the kids to Rutledge Wilson Farm to have fun at Fall Fest and to pick pumpkins.  The kids really enjoyed themselves (so did we).

Judd and Cindy were in the next weekend.  We did so many fun Halloween/fall things.  We painted pumpkins, played in leaves, carved pumpkins, and went to Spooktacular.

The month ended with Halloween trick or treating.  Kathryn went to school and had a parade and party then we all went to Ben's work and finished the night at Northside Christian.  It was fun but Jack needed a nap so there aren't as many pictures of the day as I would have liked.

It was such a wonderful month and November started off great too.  More on that in another post.
