Making Memories

I love traditions.  When I think about certain events/holidays I remember little traditions that probably no one else in the world remembers.  These are things that I want my children to be able to look back and remember.  Some of the things were no big deal at the time....but they are associated with fond memories.  I want to repeat these things for Kathryn and any future children that we have.  It is even more fun to combine the traditions of my family with those that Ben remembers.

Easter is one of those holidays that has more substantial meaning than any other.  Obviously I want our children to love Easter because of the significance.  I pray that all of our kids base their lives on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  Hopefully while Ben and I are teaching our kids about our Savior, they will also love all of the fun memories paired with the holiday.

February 2013

Most likely our last full month as a family of three.  We are trying to savor every minute with Kathryn before we joyfully add a new addition.  This month was full of fun.  We celebrated my dad's birthday and Amelia's 2nd birthday, had a Valentines Date, did some target shooting, watched the superbowl, and I got to stay home several days with my little girl because of snow days!
