Labor Day Weekend

Well I didn't take a camera so I have no pictures but last weekend Ben and I went to Kansas City for the weekend as part of his birthday present. The Tigers were in town playing the Royals so we went up to go to Saturday and Sunday's games. It was a really good time... we stayed at the Drury Inn right next to the stadium. On Saturday we watched college football, walked around the Plaza, and then tailgated with Roo and Shelley (and these other people who had washers there) :). Our seats for Saturday were right behind the Royals dugout, about 5 rows up. That is one nice thing about going to the K, the Royals are so bad that tickets are MUCH cheaper than those in STL. On Sunday we basically just slept in and then went to the afternoon game. For this game, we were a little further back but we were right behind home plate. I think we were about 15 rows back or so in the padded seats, with wait-staff service. I have never had that nice of seats before, it was great! The Tigers won on Saturday but lost on Sunday. I was really glad Ben got to watch the Tigers since it had been so long; hopefully we can do it again next year.
