Similar to April, many of the pictures from the month of May are from
Kathryn's birthday. May has always been my favorite month. School ends for the year (which leads to a whirl-wind of activities), baseball is in full swing, lake season begins, and the weather is typically glorious. Now that I am older we can add in more fun things like my little girl's birthday and Mother's Day.
The first weekend in May was Ben and Kathryn's first father/daughter dance. The theme was Hawaiian so they dressed up and headed to school while Jack and I went to the tail end of Derby Day at the Ebbrechts.

The following day was Mother's Day. Ben got me a beautiful Orchid. Although Clay and his clan were all out of town, we still headed to my parents for a celebration.
| Lots of fun with my babies. |
At some point this month, we also went and picked strawberries for the first time, played with bubbles, and the kids got to sit in a police car at a birthday party. It was so fun!

| I had some good helpers! |
| Kathryn's friend Elania got her this neat bubble machine. |
| They were a little nervous but then so excited to sit in the police car. |
Kathryn and Jack both had their last day of school (and Kathryn's pre-k "graduation"). I always love seeing first day of school and last day of school pictures.

First day this year for Kathryn
Over Memorial Day weekend, Judd and Cindy came in to celebrate Kathryn's birthday. Although it was a shorter trip than normal, it is always a wonderful time!

| Wild Man! |
| Collecting fire wood |
| Impromptu walk after church |
| Jack and Susannah during a water balloon fight |
| Grammy reading bedtime stories...ignore the pink pajamas |
Only one month left and then I am FINALLY all caught up on blog posts!
