*I asked Kathryn the questions below and started this draft in May of 2019. Unfortunately, I didn't finish it until April 2020 so I can't remember much of what happened. However, the pictures are great to look back at!
Kathryn turned 8 years old and finished 2nd grade. I really feel like Kathryn started coming out of her shell this year. She has a great group of friends and loves to socialize. She is still fairly quiet at school but is willing to ask questions and talk to her teacher to get more information. Kathryn continues to be strong academically but still prefers to not have to go to school :).
This year Kathryn's birthday fell on a Thursday. For the actual birthday, Grandma and Papa came over for a steak dinner. The next day was the last day of school and we had a ton of girls come over. It was an end of year/birthday party sleepover. There were a million girls here and they played with water balloons, played outside on Jack's 4-wheeler, and just generally destroyed the house. But they had a blast!!!!
Over Memorial Day weekend Judd and Cindy came in and my family came over and we celebrated her birthday AGAIN. This time it was a pinata, more water balloons, and playing with the cousins.
